Kotokoi is a word puzzle game by Chelodo B.V., and this policy explains what happens to your information when you play Kotokoi and when you visit kotokoi.app.

In short: Kotokoi doesn't collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app keeps, and where

Your game (progress, pearls, fish, hints and settings) is saved only on your device, inside the app. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. It's included in your device's own backups, like other apps' data, and it's deleted when you delete the app.

Purchases

Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Apple takes care of the payment, and we never see your name, your Apple Account or your payment details. The app asks Apple, on your device, which purchases you own, so it can unlock them and restore them on your other devices. What Apple does with your information is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

What we don't do

• No sign-in or accounts.
• No advertising, and no use of your device's advertising identifier.
• No analytics, crash reporting or third-party tracking tools.
• We don't sell or share data about you. We don't have any.

This website

kotokoi.app is served through Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address. The pages load the Outfit typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google to fetch it. We don't use cookies, analytics or trackers on this site.

Children

Kotokoi doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we don't hold personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about privacy, write to contact@chelodo.com.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
